Grane Area
Report summary
Grane Area is a heavy oil field located between Johan Sverdrup and Heimdal in the central part of the Norwegian North Sea. The field has been developed using a fixed steel integrated processing, drilling and accommodation platform. Horizontal and multi-lateral wells are being used to exploit the reservoir and gas was being injected to maintain reservoir pressure until 2021.Breidablikk is a subsea tie back to the Grane platform 10 kilometres to the northeast.
