The Greater Armada Area lies 35 kilometres east of Britannia Area, and includes the Fleming, Drake, Hawkins, Seymour and Maria fields. Drake, Fleming and Hawkins were developed simultaneously, with first gas in 1997. A single platform was installed during the first phase and extended reach wells were used to drain the outlying parts of the reservoirs. A second phase of drilling in 2002 included three more wells.
