Guarrojo Area

Report summary

The Guarrojo block in the Llanos basin contains the Ocelote, Guarrojo and Pintado fields. The reservoir is fuelled by a strong aquifer and production tends to have a high water cut. Until 2016, the crude was sold as part of the Vasconia blend. It is now directed through the same pipeline as Rubiales heavy production and serves as a diluent.
