Halcon Resources is an oil-levered Permian operator with acreage in Pecos, Reeves, Ward, and Winkler counties of Texas. After emerging from bankruptcy in 2016, the company divested all of its positions in the Williston Basin and Gulf Coast. As a pure-play Delaware Basin company, Halcon (NYSE: HK) focuses on the horizontal development of the Wolfcamp and Bone Spring formations.
