Imashevskoye
Report summary
The large Imashevskoye sour gas field is located on the Kazakhstan-Russia border and is targeted for development by KazRosGas, a JV of state-owned QazaqGaz and Gazprom. The cross-border field is an extension of Russia's giant Astrakhanskoye accumulation.Protracted talks between Kazakhstan and Russia have delayed Imashevskoye appraisal and development.
