Report summary
Incahuasi is a large gas and condensate field discovered by Total in 2004. Straddling the Itapi and Aquio blocks in the prolific Tarija basin, it lies on trend with large gas fields farther south such as San Alberto, Sabalo and Itaú (see separate analysis). In April 2011, a successful appraisal well in the neighbouring Aquio block confirmed the field's northern extension.
