Report summary

The Intisar fields were discovered in Concession 103 which was originally awarded to Occidental Libya in 1966. The company had success with its first exploration well which encountered hydrocarbons within the Palaeocene section of a carbonate reef. Subsequent exploration wells proved up further reefs on what has become a major hydrocarbon play in the Sirte Basin.
