Asset Report
Ixachi
Report summary
Ixachi is a giant gas and condensate field in onshore Mexico. Pemex discovered Ixachi in 2017, and it was the most significant discovery made in onshore Mexico since the 80s decade when fields Sen and Jujo-Tecominoacan were discovered. The field is located in Veracruz near mature fields like Rincon Pacheco, Lizamba, and Perdiz. The high prospectivity of the field led to a quick start of the evaluation program and inclusion into a faster time-to-production strategy within the following years.
