The ultra high-pressure/high-temperature (HP/HT) Jackdaw field is located in the Central North Sea around 10 kilometres to the northeast of the Jade field. It was discovered in 2005 with a well operated by ConocoPhillips. BG subsequently led an appraisal campaign on the Jackdaw discovery between 2007 and 2012.
