The Khurais development includes the Khurais, Abu Jifan and Mazalij fields. The Qirdi field ceased production in the 1980s. Khurais, the largest of the three, extends 90 kilometres north to south and is located 100 kilometres east of Riyadh. Abu Jifan and Mazalij are much smaller and lie to the south of Khurais.
