Report summary
The Kitina field was discovered in 1991 and is one of three discoveries made on the Marine VII exploration licence. The other discoveries are Kitina Sud and Sounda. The Kitina field was brought onstream in 1997 with 10 producers and two water injectors. Production started from the Kitina Sud field in 1998 through a single producer, tied back to the Kitina platform. Crude oil from the fields was originally sold as the Kitina blend as its quality was superior to the existing Djeno Blend. ...
