Report summary

The Komsomolskoye and Tasbulat Area fields are located in southwest Kazakhstan. OMV Petrom has owned both assets since the early 2000s via its Kom-Munai and Tasbulat Oil Corporation (TOC) subsidiaries. In December 2020, OMV Petrom agreed to sell the projects to Magnetic Oil, a local Kazakh firm, for an undisclosed consideration.
