Report summary

The Las Maracas field is located in the Ocarros Block southwest of Parex's Block LLA 16. Crude from Las Maracas is relatively light at 37 API. Being not too viscous could allow the oil to be used as diluent for the predominantly heavy oil fields of the Llanos basin. However for the purposes of this analysis we are assuming all oil is transported to the coast. The Las Maracas field is located in the foreland blocks of the Llanos basin and is a multiple zone development targeting the Mirador Gacheta and Une formations.
