Report summary
Liwan, China's first deepwater project, is located about 270 kilometres from the Guangdong province in the Pearl River Mouth Basin, Eastern South China Sea. The asset includes the main Liwan 3-1, Liuhua 34-2 and 29-1 fields within Block 29/26. Cenovus and CNOOC Ltd operate the project's deepwater and shallow water portion, respectively.
