Report summary
The Lucina, MBya and M'Wengui fields are in offshore Gabon, in the southern Lower Congo basin. The fields were discovered and brought onstream in the 1970s and 1980s. Production peaked at around 27,000 b/d in 1984. Perenco acquired operatorship in the 1990s and focused on incremental oil production and extending the fields' producing life.
