The 'Greater Barik' area is located in central Oman, near to existing large non-associated gas projects. The area refers to two upstream blocks, Block 10 and Block 11. Block 10 includes the Mabrouk North East (Mabrouk NE) and Mabrouk West discoveries, made by Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) in 2017, as well as the Tawf Dahm and Jerian discoveries.
