Magnolia (GB 783) is a medium sized oil and associated gas field located in the Garden Banks protraction area of the Central Gulf of Mexico. The field has been developed via a TLP with eight dry tree wells. First production was achieved in December 2004. Production from Magnolia has not met expectations due to complex geology and pressure issues. The field peaked at around 25 000 b/d of oil in 2005 and 78 mmcfd of gas in 2006 well below the facility's capacity of 50 000 b/d of oil and ...
