Report summary
Mahato PSC comprises the Petapahan-B (PB) oil field, near the Petapahan and Kotabatak oil fields of the Rokan PSC. Discovered in late 2019, the PB field was quickly brought onstream in 2021. The field has been further developed under a Field Development Optimisation (FDO) Phase 1 approved in June 2022. Under the FDO Phase 2 approved in June 2024, the operator plans to drill an additional 14 developments wells by late 2025. Oil from the PB field is piped 6 km south to the Petapahan gathering station, before it is ultimately supplied to the PERTAMINA-operated Dumai refinery.
