Marlim Leste is a medium-sized, deepwater oil and gas field located to the east of the giant Marlim field. It is part of the Marlim cluster, which is also composed by Marlim, Voador and Marlim Sul fields. It was discovered in 1987, but remained undeveloped for 22 years as Petrobras concentrated on the larger deepwater fields in its portfolio.The field is being exploited using a floating production and offloading vessel (FPO) and a floating production storage and offloading vessel (FPSO). ...
