Report summary
Maromba is a relatively small and technically challenging oil field in the shallow waters of the Campos basin. The field contains low-sulphur heavy oil and drilled exploration wells have targeted the Maastrichtian sandstone reservoirs. The field is located close to the Peregrino, Papa-Terra and Polvo fields where BW offshore currently has or has had operations.
