Maui
Report summary
The Maui field is located offshore in the Taranaki basin. The field was discovered in 1969 and gas production began in 1979. Oil production began in September 1996 through the Maui B platform and ceased in April 2006. The development consists of two platforms - Maui A and Maui B. The Maui B platform was installed in 1992 to allow for the southwestern part of the field to be developed.
