Insight
MENA upstream month in brief: March 2015
Report summary
Two key issues were being closely watched by global markets in the Middle East: turbulence in Yemen and the progression of a nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1. In Libya, Eni is one of the few companies still exploring and it made a gas/condensate discovery in its offshore NC41 block. Several spending commitments were made in Egypt which suggests it's once again open for business while low oil prices continued to affect the economies of the Gulf states.
