Mereenie
Report summary
Mereenie is an onshore oil and gas area located in the remote Amadeus Basin in the Northern Territory, approximately 230 kilometres west of Alice Springs. It is spread over two production permits, OL 4 (West Mereenie) and OL 5 (East Mereenie). Modest volumes of oil production are produced, with the oil transported by road directly to the Port Bonython export terminal.
