Middle East Upstream: H1 2023 review
Report summary
Only half of the year has passed and 2023 is proving to be another strong year for the Middle East upstream sector with increased investment, higher production, and solid revenues. Saudi, UAE and Qatar are making progress on their ambitious growth plans. Oman's newest gas project at Block 10 started production. Iraq’s new government has approved much-needed investment in its energy sector. However, things are looking grim for the Kurdistan Regional Government and the IOCs operating there.
