The MonArb Area in the Central North Sea covers eight fields: Montrose, Arbroath, Arkwright, Brechin, Wood, Godwin, Cayley and Shaw. Arbroath, discovered in 1969, was the first oil discovery in North Sea. The area has undergone several phases of investment as satellite fields were successively tied-in.
