Report summary
The Morecambe North and Rhyl gas fields lie 72 kilometres northwest of Liverpool, in the East Irish Sea. Morecambe North was developed using a single not normally manned (NNM) platform controlled from Morecambe South. Gas is exported via pipeline to the Rampside Gas Terminal. From here, gas is piped into the National GridRhyl was discovered in 2009 and started production in 2013.
