The Uzbek-Russian Natural Gas-Stream (NGS) JV operates a portfolio of gas fields and exploration acreage in west Uzbekistan. Gazprom and partners established the JV in 2016 after an open tender. NGS' core assets are in the Amu Darya (Chandir field) and North Ustyurt basins (Urga field and Akchalak group).
