Report summary
NEC-25, located on the block NEC-OSN-97/2, is the first significant discovery offshore Orissa, on the northeast coast of India. Reliance has discovered eight gas fields inlcuding one deepwater field. The development plan, which was submitted on 28 March 2013, envisages up to 10 subsea wells connected to a shallow water processing platform. Gas will then be tansported to an onshore terminal via a subsea pipeline.
