Asset Report
Nicolai Creek
Report summary
The Nicolai Creek gas field is located on the western side of the Cook Inlet, five kilometres west of the offshore Granite Point field. Currently operated by Amaroq Resources, Texaco originally developed the field in 1968. It was subsequently shut-in due to poor economics at that time. Production was restarted in 2001 after Aurora gained 100% interest in the field. The field is now owned by Amaroq Resources following a 2018 bankruptcy sale.
