The Nord Stream pipeline transports Russian gas to Europe across the Baltic Sea. It passes through the territorial waters of Russia, Denmark and Germany and through the Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZ) of Russia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. It comprises two parallel 48-inch pipelines, which run from Vyborg in Russia to Greifswald in Germany.
