The North East Abu Gharadig (NEAG) group of assets comprises eight development leases over an area of around 5,000 km2 in Egypt's Western Desert. It was initially awarded to a consortium of Shell, Repsol and Mobil in 1995.Production from the fields peaked in 2016 and has long since been in long-term decline.
