North Komsomolskoye is one of Rosneft's largest oil and gas fields and lies in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.In 2012, Equinor and Rosneft signed a JV to focus on exploration of the offshore Arctic in the Barents Sea and a Domanik project in the Volga-Urals.
