This weeks edition covers: In the UK, Nexen has plugged and abandoned the 38/2-1z exploration sidetrack well on the Komodo prospect in the Northern North Sea. In Norway Total has discovered gas and condensate on its Herja prospect, north-east of its under-development Martin Linge field. Statoil has also announced two minor discoveries in the Njord area. Well 6407/7-9S struck oil, gas and condensate while the sidetrack 6407/7-9A encountered gas. In the Barents Sea region Lundin's appraisal well on the Alta discovery, 7220/11-3 AR, has been completed and production test was carried out giving significant gas flow rates.
