Report summary
Ocotillo is a small oil and gas discovery located in the Mississippi Canyon protraction area of the Central Gulf of America. The field was discovered by Occidental Petroleum in May 2024. Ocotillo will likely be developed as a subsea tieback to the Oxy-operated Marlin TLP, which lies 16 kilometres (10 miles) to the north.
