OML 113 contains the Aje oil and gas field, located 24 kilometres offshore in the Keta-Togo-Benin basin. The block is adjacent to the border with Benin. It was awarded to Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum (YFP) in 1991 as OPL 309. OPL 309 was converted to OML 113 in 1998. Since 2001, YFP has seen a number of partners come and exit OML 113.
