OML 41 is a block in the northwestern Niger Delta and is located 50 kilometres from Warri, Delta State. It was originally part of the Shell joint venture (Shell JV). It contains one commercial field, Sapele which has produced since 1971 and was among the first in Nigeria to produce sales gas in 1977.
