The shallow water Amenam-Kpono field straddles the boundary between TotalEnergies' OML 99 and the ExxonMobil-operated OML 70. The Amenam-Kpono Oil and Gas Export Project (AKOGEP) is a two-phase development. Phase 1 developed oil reserves and started in 2003. Phase 2 began in 2006, targeting the gas reserves. Oil is exported to TotalEnergies' Unity Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessel and gas/condensate is sent by pipeline to NLNG at Bonny.A gas blowdown project was completed ...
