The Offshore North Sinai (ONS) gas fields are located in the Mediterranean, north of the Sinai Peninsula and east of Eni's North Port Said gas fields. Amoco made three Pliocene gas discoveries on the block in the late 1990s: Tao, Kamose and Seti Plio. Development approval was granted for the three fields in 1999. Perenco acquired operatorship in 2007. The initial development focused on Tao, and the field came onstream in 2009. It peaked at 180 mmcfd before coming off plateau in 2012, ...
