PM335 (Larut Area) (formerly PM5)
Report summary
The PM5 (Larut Area) development acreage contains the Larut field. The field was discovered in September 1990 by ExxonMobil but was considered economically marginal until a new facility design and project-execution plan led to cost savings. It was brought onstream in February 2002. Produced oil and gas was exported via Guntong by two 100-kilometre pipelines.In mid-2017, ExxonMobil relinquished its 50% stake in PM5 to PETRONAS, which continues to use the facilities for transmission of East ...
