Report summary
The Ceará basin was an important producing area historically, but has no longer been an investment priority for Petrobras. In 2017, the NOC started to divest some assets in the region, and the Espada, Curimã, Xaréu and Atum fields were part of the divestment plan. It did not attract interested buyers.The Polo Ceará cluster is located in shallow water and is connected to 32 wells and nine fixed platforms.
