Merluza and Lagosta are gas/condensate fields located in the shallow waters of the Santos basin and came onstream in 1992 and 2009 respectively.The two fields are jointly developed with Lagosta being a tie-back to Merluza infrastructure. Merluza has higher costs associated with it, as the main development of the hub. The high cost and low production levels result in a negative present value.
