Report summary
On 5 June 2017, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain cut diplomatic ties with Qatar. Qatar is a major energy exporter. In light of these events, we have created a slide pack analysing the country's position in the global energy market. We outline Qatar's main export markets, international companies active in the country's upstream sector, and energy trade with Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
