Report summary
Rajasthan has not historically been a key area of focus for ONGC. The company has made several gas discoveries in the basin, but none have been of a significant size and ONGC's exploration activity has been limited. ONGC is producing small quantities of gas, between 1 and 1.6 mmcfd, which is supplied to a power plant at Ramgarh. Gas production is likely to remain in this range for the foreseeable future.This analysis focuses on fields discovered by ONGC.
