Reindeer
Report summary
The Reindeer gas field is located in the Dampier sub-basin of the Carnarvon Basin off the coast of Western Australia. The development consists of an unmanned offshore platform tied back to a new gas processing plant at Devil Creek, 50 kilometres southwest of Karratha. The Devil Creek delivers gas directly into the Dampier to Bunbury Gas Pipeline.The Final Investment Decision (FID) was taken in April 2008, with first gas in 2011. Production has been sporadic through H2 2023. We expect production to cease in early 2024.
