Kazakh company Satti Meken operates the small onshore Sazankurak and Mynteke South oil fields in west Kazakhstan. They have been developed together but are licensed under separate contracts.Aggregate oil production is now about 800 b/d and will continue to decrease. The majority is sold domestically, with the remainder exported via the Atyrau-Samara pipeline to Russian ports.Sazankurak is the larger field and contains heavy and viscous crude.
