Report summary
The SB K PSC is located offshore Sabah and lies in water depths ranging from around 920 metres to over 1,400 metres. The block contains a number of commercial oil and gas fields including Kikeh, Kakap and Siakap North. The main Kikeh field was Malaysia's first deepwater development, with initial oil and gas production achieved in August 2007 and December 2008 respectively. In 2010, an unitisation agreement was reached for the joint development and project sanction was achieved in 2011.
