Report summaryShagirli-Shomishti is a shallow, low-pressure gas field in southwestern Kazakhstan. First gas was achieved in February 2015, soon after the field was relicensed to a new operator, KazAzot. Wood Mackenzie assumes that gas output will increase to a plateau of slightly less than 100 mmcfd from 2017 onwards.
