Shearwater is a large high pressure, high temperature (HP/HT) gas/condensate field in the Central Graben, 245 kilometres east of Aberdeen. It is one of the most important fields in the Central North Sea and a key asset in Shell's remaining UKCS portfolio. Shearwater has been developed with a PUQ (production, utilities and quarters) platform, bridge-linked to a satellite wellhead platform. Production started in 2000 from five wells.
