Shell today announced two upstream disposals: 1) a package of UK North Sea assets to Chrysaor for US$3 bn, potentially rising to US$3.8 bn; 2) its 22.22% stake in Bongkot (Thailand) to KUFPEC for US$900 million. We analyse the implications for Shell in the context of its wider disposal programme.
