Report summary

The Total-operated Shetland Gas Plant was constructed between 2011 and 2015 to process gas volumes from Greater Laggan Area fields. The plant is at Sullom Voe, adjacent to the existing BP-operated Sullom Voe Terminal. After processing at the Shetland Gas Plant, dry gas is exported to St Fergus (NSMP) via the 234 kilometre long Shetland Island Regional Gas Export (SIRGE) pipeline, which was commissioned in 2016.
